Some of my tips on adding Ravelry projects (no tester code needed)

Why is this important?  People use this to decide if the pattern is worth purchasing.

 

HOW TO LINK YOUR PROJECT TO A PATTERN ON RAVELRY:  Click Here
👩🏼💻  Enter the name of the pattern and be sure the correct designer is selected.
Why is this important?  Your project has to be linked properly in order to be seen. 

 

HOW TO ADD THE YARN BRAND AND COLOR ON RAVELRY:  Click Here
🧶  Select the yarn brand and type in color, choose from drop-down menu options
Why is this important?  Many people "shop" on Ravelry for inspiration.

 

HOW TO ADD THE YARN WEIGHT (IN OUNCES OR GRAMS) TO CALCULATE YARDAGE ON RAVELRY:  Click Here for ounces or Click Here for grams
⚖️  Enter the yarn brand name and color, then calculate the yardage.  In my example I know my project weighed 2.7 oz which is approximately half of the total skein weight so I started with .5 and adjusted until the weight displayed exactly 2.7 ounces.  (It's even easier to enter the weight with grams.  All you have to do is move the decimal.)
Why is this important?  This helps people determine if they have enough yarn for the pattern.
