DESCRIPTION:
This is a PDF knitting pattern for a knit hat in adult size. This is the knit version of my crochet pattern "Chain Link Slouch" from 2016.
UPDATE: This pattern has been updated and revised as of 04-27-25. It now includes instructions for light bulky, bulky, and light super bulky as well as super bulky yarn. The name has been changed from Chain Links Slouch to Interlinked Beanie. (Modeled photos in pink hat show the original version of pattern.)

#5 Bulky Knitting Needles (Malabrigo Chunky):
US #7 (4.5 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needle
US #10.5 (6.5 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needle
#6 Light Super Bulky Knitting Needles (Manos del Uruguay Franca):
US #10.5 (6.5 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needle
US #13 (9 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needle
#6 Super Bulky Knitting Needles (Malabrigo Rasta):

150-170 yards of #5 light bulky yarn (I used Malabrigo Mecha)*
120-140 yards of #5 bulky yarn (I used Malabrigo Chunky)*
95-115 yards of #6 light super bulky (I used Manos del Uruguay Franca)
90-115 yards of #6 super bulky yarn (I used Malabrigo Rasta)*

NOTIONS: measuring tape, stitch marker, cable needle, yarn needle, pom pom or pom pom maker (optional)
