DESCRIPTION:
This is a PDF knit pattern for a very textured beanie or slouch with cables worked from the bottom up. It includes instructions for 2 yarn weights (#5 chunky/bulky and #6 light super bulky).  

SIZES INCLUDED:
Teen/Adult, Large Adult

KNIT SKILL LEVEL:
Intermediate (cables).  Must be able to follow a written knit pattern.

TERMINOLOGY:
This pattern is written in STANDARD U.S. TERMS and in English ONLY.

KNITTING NEEDLES:

#5 Bulky Knitting Needles:
US #7 (4.5 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needle
US #10.5 (6.5 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needle
A set of DPNs in same size used for body (optional), or use magic loop method

#6 Light Super Bulky Knitting Needles:
US #10 (6 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needle
US #10.5 (6.5 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needle
US #13 (9 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needle
US #15 (10 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needle
A set of DPNs in same size used for body (optional), or use magic loop method

YARN:  
90-115 yards of #5 bulky weight yarn (I used Malabrigo Chunky)
70-95 yards of #6 LIGHT super bulky weight yarn (I used Manos del Uruguay Franca)

NOTIONS:  
Stitch marker, measuring tape, yarn needle, cable needle
